Our journey began when we happened to be present as
an abandoned puppy, nearly hairless from skin mange, was presented to a local kill shelter. When the shelter attendant flashed
a "thumbs down" sign condemning him to death, we literally whisked him away, treated his mange, and found him the
greatest home. He has lived there without a single "bad hair day" for the past 13 years!!!
Pet-I-Care depends on the collective efforts of our volunteers,
our foster homes, veterinarians, trainers and behaviorists. However, to continue our work, we need the continued support
we receive from you. Our journey continues only because of your generosity over the years, and we thank you deeply for that.
We also thank all of our wonderful volunteers who give the gift of their time and love.
